As an aid to determinate the infection of this disease, the TB Ab Rapid Test is a chromatographic immunoassay for direct qualitative detection of Tuberculosis antibody in human serum/plasma/whole blood specimens.
Tuberculosis is a highly infectious disease caused by various strains of mycobacteria, usually Mycobacterium tuberculosis are potentially fatal disease of human. TB is transmitted almost exclusively by aerosol from the respiratory secretions of patients with active M.tuberculosis. Most of the infected will keep asymptomatic, and about 10% progress to active disease. Tuberculosis mainly affects the lungs and about 80% of all cases of tuberculosis were limited to lungs.
