Angiotensin Converting Enzyme is a kind of exopeptidase. It could catalyze ACE I to ACE II, and inactivate bradykinin (BK). Besides the content is going to low in patient with lung cancer. However, ACE inhibitor could decrease ACE II production and improve the BK activity. So it could use the ACE inhibitor to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension etc. And the ACE could be used as an aid to detect these diseases, such as high blood pressure, heart failure, diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension etc.
